The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About ApplyNotes
ApplyNotes is a local-first workspace for rich-text Notes and Journal entries. Organize writing by project and status, search local content, add images, capture visible webpages or selected areas, annotate screenshots, and protect your workspace with JSON, Markdown, and Full Backup export.
All core local features are free and work without an account. Notes, Journal entries, projects, settings, screenshots, and images remain in your Chrome profile unless you explicitly enable ApplyNotes Cloud.
ApplyNotes Cloud is optional. After email sign-in and a separate consent step, it can privately back up and sync Notes, Journal entries, projects, screenshots, and images across devices. Supabase stores account and structured sync data; private Cloudflare R2 stores media. ApplyNotes Cloud is not end-to-end encrypted. The single launch plan is USD $5.99 per month for 25 GiB, renews monthly, has no annual plan and no free trial, and can be canceled at the end of the current billing period. Local data remains available if Cloud is disabled or a subscription ends.
Windows users may separately install the ApplyNotes Native Companion for user-triggered full-screen, window, or region capture with local annotation. Browser visible/selected capture remains available in the extension. Native capture is Windows x64 only.
ApplyNotes has no advertising or behavioral analytics and does not sell user data. Stripe handles billing and card details; ApplyNotes does not store full card numbers or CVCs. Removing the extension may remove locally stored data, so export a Full Backup before uninstalling or moving to another Chrome profile.
