The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About AoTool
AoTool is a browser workspace for working with web content and development data. Open tools from the extension icon or a context menu to work with the content you select. The interface supports Chinese and English, with adjustable themes.
Format structured data, explore its hierarchy and compare changes when inspecting service responses. Send requests to services you specify, inspect their replies and keep request history locally. You can also open a local database, browse its tables, run queries and export an edited copy.
For translation, connect an OpenAI-compatible service you configure and choose a model and target language. Translate selected text, a page element or a whole page through an explicit action, with optional original-text comparison. Quick mode must be enabled manually. Local rules filter some common sensitive text before sending, but cannot detect every secret. Translation history stays on your device and can be searched, copied or deleted. Your provider may charge for use; AoTool includes no model credits.
Capture a page or selected area, or save a static offline copy for reference. Join, split and compress images locally to prepare your materials. Generate a QR code from text or read one from an image; recognized links never open automatically.
Local data conversion and image processing do not upload your files. Network debugging and AI translation send the relevant content to the services you choose. Service keys, translations and request history are stored locally in plaintext and excluded from preference sync. Optional sync is off by default and contains settings only. There are no ads, telemetry or developer collection servers. Site access is requested as needed; see the privacy policy for data-handling details.
