The extension passes it to a small helper program on your computer, which hands it to the Discord app. Set it up in AniRoll under Settings → Discord: install this extension, run the helper once, and turn the switch on. Privacy: everything stays on your computer. Nothing is sent to AniRoll's server or anywhere else, and nothing is stored. Closing the last AniRoll tab clears your status. The extension only runs on aniroll.app.
