AltOS

AltOS turns every new tab into a calm, terminal-styled workspace instead of a blank page. Open a tab and you land on a dashboard you actually want to use: a fast search bar, your dock of favourite links, sticky notes, and the tabs you set aside for later. Everything runs locally on your device. What's inside: Tab Stash: save a pile of open tabs with one click and bring them back whenever you need them. Sticky notes and a notepad that saves on its own. A dock of quick links you put together yourself. Locker: an encrypted vault for passwords and private notes, protected with Argon2. A toolbox for everyday jobs: calculator with history, image converter, metadata cleaner, world clock, weather, a deterministic password generator, and a panel with your connection details. Flow: an infinite canvas for laying out notes, links, and ideas. Focus timers to keep you on track, plus a few surprises (yes, there's a cat). Four themes (Dark, Light, Sakura, Sea), classic terminal panels or full glassmorphism, and backgrounds you can tune. If you want it, auto-sync keeps your notes, links, and stashes in step across devices through your own Google Drive. Nothing leaves your machine until you turn it on.
