Alcovia Focus Shield

Alcovia Focus Shield keeps you off distracting websites while you're studying. When you start a focus session in your Alcovia student dashboard, the extension automatically blocks 132 known distracting sites. Instead of the site, you see a reminder that you're in a session and how much time is left. When the session ends, everything unblocks on its own. HOW IT WORKS 1. Sign in to your Alcovia student dashboard 2. Start a focus session 3. Distracting sites stay blocked until the timer runs out There is nothing to configure. The blocklist is maintained centrally and refreshes automatically, so it stays current without you changing any settings. REQUIRES AN ALCOVIA STUDENT ACCOUNT This extension is a companion to the Alcovia student dashboard at web.alcovia.life. It does not work on its own — you need an Alcovia student account to start a focus session. PRIVACY Your session state and the blocklist are stored locally in your browser. The extension does not track your browsing history, build a profile of you, or sell data to anyone.
