AI Workspace Organizer

AI Workspace Organizer adds a "Workspace" panel to the sidebar of ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Gemini and Perplexity, so you can sort your projects and chats from all five into one tree of nested folders. WHAT IT DOES • Nested folders with no depth limit. Drag to reorder, drag left or right to change level. • One workspace across five AI sites: put a ChatGPT project, a Claude project and a Gemini chat in the same folder. • Add the page you are on with one click, or pick from the items detected in the site's sidebar. • Search folders and items instantly, with the folder path shown for every result. • Favourites and recently opened items. • Customise each folder: about 1,900 Lucide icons, emoji, or your own uploaded image, plus 16 preset colours or any HEX colour. • Undo up to 30 steps with Ctrl+Z. • Full keyboard control and screen-reader roles (tree, menu, dialog). • Light and dark themes that follow the site. • Profiles: keep separate workspaces for different accounts. • Export and import your workspace as a JSON file. • Interface in English and Traditional Chinese. HOW IT WORKS A folder here is a virtual folder: it stores only the link and title of each item. Putting two projects in the same folder does not share memory, files or chats between them. Removing an item or deleting a folder never deletes or changes anything on the AI site. PRIVACY • Everything is stored on your computer in chrome.storage.local. There is no server, no account, no analytics and no ads. • The extension reads only the links and titles visible in the AI sites' sidebars. It does not read chat content, cookies, passwords or tokens, and it does not call any private API. • Permissions: "storage" for your workspace, "activeTab" so the popup can offer to file the page you are on, and access to the five supported sites to show the panel. GOOD TO KNOW • Your workspace stays in this browser profile. It does not sync between devices; use export and import to move it. • Only items visible on the page can be detected. Any supported link can also be added by hand. • If a site changes its layout and the sidebar cannot be found, the panel opens as a floating panel instead. • Grok projects are not detected automatically; add their links by hand.
