About AEShiper | Ship Web to After Effects & Figma
Bring website artwork into your motion-design workflow with AEShiper's compact
Obsidian dock. Capture a page or pick an element and ship supported layout, text and
image layers to After Effects through the locally installed AEShiper companion.
Choose New Comp or Current Comp and stop a transfer safely when needed.
The app icon is your destination switch: Figma by default, then After Effects
on the next click. Every capture action follows your selection. The compact
popup contains capture actions without duplicate destination tabs.
Choose Light, Dark, or System appearance. System is the default and follows your
device theme. The dock starts bottom-center with a 10rem gap above the bottom
edge. Drag anywhere on the bar, including tool icons, to move it; normal clicks
still activate the tools. Appearance is saved locally across websites and previews.
Copy supported editable page content to Figma using its HTML paste format.
Inspect computed fonts and copy their CSS. Collect page images, inline SVG and
background assets, preview them, and download or copy supported assets. Capture
a full webpage screenshot with PNG/PDF export and image-copy tools.
Editable capture supports solid backgrounds, basic borders/corners, text and
images. Complex gradients, transforms, effects, clipping and embedded media need
review; unsupported features are reported. Capture has memory and AE composition
size limits. This extension does not promise pixel-identical editable conversion
of every website. Screenshot capture requires the source tab to remain active.
Ship to AE requires Adobe After Effects and the separately installed, activated
AEShiper companion. The browser extension has no cloud artwork-upload service,
advertising or analytics. Website content is processed locally; requested assets
are fetched from their original hosts. Full details are in the privacy policy.
Use Assets only for content you own or have permission to use. Encrypted, DRM,
live, DASH and separate-audio streams are unsupported.
