The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About 9AI QA Assistant
9AI QA Assistant helps QA engineers and developers streamline the entire
testing workflow — from requirement analysis to test execution, evidence
collection, and test automation — directly from the browser side panel.
Key features:
• Generate AI-powered test checklists from user stories and SRS documents
• Inspect element locators on any page and export them as a Playwright Page
Object Model file (Alt+L / ⌥L on Mac)
• Capture and annotate screenshots with drawing, text, shapes, and blur
(Alt+C / ⌥C on Mac)
• Record the full Chrome window as a video file, independent of the side panel
(Alt+R / ⌥R on Mac)
• Auto-fill web forms with realistic test data (names, phone numbers, bank
accounts, addresses, and 40+ field types)
• Track QA test flows and screen coverage across your web application (opt-in,
manually activated by the user)
• Mark test cases as passed or failed, attach screenshot evidence, and raise a
JIRA bug straight from a failing case
• Sync test checklists with JIRA issues automatically
• Designed for QA engineers, automation testers, and developers working on web
application testing
Locator inspector and Playwright export:
• Overlays every element currently on screen with its best locator, and shows
all the other ways to select the same element when you click it
• Ranks locators by how long they will survive: data-testid → id → name →
aria-label → placeholder → type → href → DOM structure
• Never binds a locator to visible text, so your tests keep working when the
UI is translated or the wording changes
• Marks locators that match more than one element in red, and locators that
only rely on DOM position in amber, so you know what to fix before it breaks
a test run
• Copy any single locator with one click
• Export the whole page as a <screen-name>.pom.ts file: typed locators plus
ready-made actions — click, fill, select an option by value or by index,
check/uncheck, and file upload
• Detects forms and adds one fill-and-submit helper per form, with a typed
data object so a spec only sets the fields it cares about
• For tables, exports the first data row with cells named after their column
headers instead of repeating an identical locator for every row
• Works inside same-origin iframes and open shadow DOM
Requirements:
• A 9AI workspace account is required to generate checklists and sync with
JIRA. The locator inspector, screenshot capture, screen recording, and form
auto-fill work on any page.
