Open an Instagram profile your current browser session can access, or enter its profile URL. 2. Choose Followers or Following, a row limit, and CSV or XLSX. 3. Field availability depends on the data Instagram returns for the current profile and browser session. PACING AND ACCOUNT-AWARE STOPS The extension collects the list page by page. Before requesting the next page, it waits a randomized 2–5 seconds to reduce back-to-back activity. If Instagram returns a rate limit, asks for login or verification, presents a security challenge, or restricts access, the task stops instead of silently retrying the rate-limited request. Confirmed rows are kept when possible. These controls reduce unnecessary requests, but no third-party tool can guarantee that Instagram will never limit an account. PRIVATE AND LOCAL No Web Tidy account or subscription is required. The extension uses the Instagram session already open in your browser. It does not request Chrome cookies permission, does not read or ask you to paste cookie values, keeps exports and recent History local, and does not upload exported lists to Web Tidy servers. IMPORTANT LIMITS The extension can only export Followers or Following that your current Instagram session is allowed to access. If Instagram requires login, verification, challenge handling, rate-limit cooling, or blocks access, the task stops and keeps confirmed rows when possible. “Unfollowers” means comparing exports yourself in a spreadsheet. The extension does not provide built-in historical tracking, automatic monitoring, unfollow notifications, or proof of when or why an account unfollowed. It does not follow or unfollow accounts, send DMs, post comments, automate outreach, enrich contacts, or find email addresses or phone numbers.
