More about this extension

Features:
– when you close an active tab, the focus goes to the last selected tab;
– you can choose default behaviour for a new tab;
– you can “pin” current tab, so it will not be used for “last selected” behaviour;
– there is a quick-options menu, where you can choose several basic behaviours
(like “open a new tab in foreground or background”, or “move a new tab to the start or to the end of tabs list”);

Change Log:

Last changes (25.10.2010):
-----------------------------------------
5.1
 - fixed (I hope) small bug with LUO;

5.0
 - quick-options window moved to the regular options;
 - pin-unpin for LUO (last used order) can now be done by simple clicking on the button in omnibox (address bar);
 - you can now choose not to use this pin-inpin button at all (see options);
 - options saved automatically: just set the needed one and close options tab;
 - fixed one or two small bugs (if selected tab is pinned and I was closing some other tab, the focus was going to the last used tab insted of staying on the selected one);

Reviews

  1. Great extension! Saves time by removing tabs that aren’t in use.

  2. Frazer says:

    Can you explain what the ‘Use context menu’ in the options does?

  3. Cold says:

    Frazer
    Sure. If you choose “yes”, then you get context menu entry “Last used TAB”.
    Sometimes, I need to return to the last used tab without closing the current one.
    So, this context menu entry helps me. 🙂
