Developer Builds
An extension for developers to test web pages in different screen resolutions, with an option to define your own resolutions.
This is my first extension so please bare with me, I will update as and when I can!
Please let me know of any features you would like to see or bugs you’ve found and I’ll see what I can do.
Resolution Test changes the size of the browser window for developers to preview their websites in different screen resolutions. It includes a list of commonly used resolutions as well as a custom option for you to input your own. It also gives users the option to turn on Google Browser Size, more info on that here - http://browsersize.googlelabs.com/
How to use:
1. Restore your window (un-maximize it)
2. Click the resolution test icon in the top right of your browser window
3. Choose a resolution, press custom and input desired resolution, or select multiple resolutions and press "View all selected".
4. Your window will be resized
A simple extension for web developers to test web pages in different standard resolutions.
None
Added custom option so you can put in your own resolution.
Would be sweet if I could add custom resolutions. Other than that it’s great!
Its my first ever extension so I’ll work out how to add resolutions permanently, but for now I’ll put a form on so you can define it yourself.
Are there any resolutions you think I’ve missed?
As per request I’ve added a custom option, are there any other resolutions that should be listed as standard?
5/5 TY
5 out of 5 thumbs up.
Cheers buddy
Nice job! Didn’t think you would of updated that fast, keep up the good work. And maybe add 1280 by 800 and 1280 by 1024
Thanks! Simply works great! 5/5 stars
Done that, got a cool idea for the next version too
I have version 1.4 installed and the extension does not auto-update, but how strange, no “Download” button available for this version 1.5…
I forced the update this morning using “developer mode” & “update extensions now”
So now I have v1.5 installed – good
Just FYI, there is still no “download” button available here…
Hmmm re-uploaded and the download button is back now, wierd.
I think the auto-updates are something to do with the cache, sometimes I have to clear the cache before even force update works.
Nice extension
)
can you also add some iphone browser sizes? so it becomes a iphone simulator for webapps
iphone portrait / landscape and with and without toolbars etc.
