Chrome Extension that generates random “Lorem Ipsum” text.
It uses a minimalist and well looking design.
Many other extensions of this type – in other browsers – simply complicate this task, using really extensive code, XHR, etc. The main purpose of this one, is to use the less amount of code (and also memory) and help the developer/user to get the job done.
You don’t need a bazooka to kill a rat, right?
Change Log:
- Added a brand new GUI - much easier, get the job done with even fewer clicks
- Refactored the whole code
- Uses Browser Action instead of toolstrip (finally!)
- Uses localStorage to save settings, instead of cookies
- Uses the grids 960 CSS framework - I know it could be accomplished easily without it, but I decided to play with it for the first time and speed-up the process of alignment
- Settings now appear as default value in inputs
- Added "Select All" and "Generate Again" options - but you still need CTRL + C to copy the content - it just simplifies selection.

Great tool for testing spaces and text protocol. It`s quick, and the lack it have is the support for foreign lenguages.

Why 4.8 of 5 points? Who is complaining but not commenting?
Just tried to download and install this–once I chose “save” I got a popup with the following error:
Extension install error
Invalid value for “permissions[0]”
Not sure what the problem is, but figured the developer would want to know.

One bug is the background of the page. You should set the background to the html tag, put its height to 100% and the body’s height to 100% as well, so the background will fill the page and avoid chrome’s bug.
