This extension adds a green pencil icon to the URL bar on pages that support quick editing (this currently applies to most Wikis and some other web sites). You just click the pencil icon to edit the page. See UniversalEditButton.org for more details.

    You should write more about it or at least put a link to Universal Edit so that users are able to understand what this is for. Sunhuan is right. Only for Wiki-pages it makes sense.
