More about this extension

On Windows, Chrome’s HTTP proxy setting uses the default system proxy. To enable a proxy, the user needs to take at least 6 clicks (Tool menu/Options/Under the hood/Change Proxy Settings/Lan Settings/Use a proxy…).
This extension provides a toolstrip interface in Chrome’s status bar to turn on or off the system HTTP proxy with a single click.
The extension uses a mini NPAPI plugin for Windows to change the system HTTP settings.
***For Windows only***

I try it, but I can’t configure 2 or more proxies (seems to be in developpement)… Continue your great work, you are solving something Firefox has and is unique (FoxyProxy).

  2. fotoflo says:

  5. Jeff says:

I installed this extension on Chrome and enabled proxy. Then I deleted this extension, and as a result I lost my internet connection through Chrome. I am still trying to figure out how to solve the problem. How is that possible?

  6. Thusitha says:

Very useful add-on. It saves lot of key strokes in enabling and disabling the proxy settings. However try to improve it to select multiple proxies when enabling if possible.

  7. [...] Chrome itself. You have to use a command-line parameter (who does that on a Mac though?), an extension, or do it through OS X’s System [...]

  8. Tawny K says:

This is a great add-on. Very similar to the now-defunct firefox version that used to be so great until they stopped updating it.

I’ve noticed a few small improvements. Keep up the good work guys!

  9. dueman says:
