PanicButton makes it easier for you to hide all of your tabs at once just by clicking on a button.

They are then saved as bookmarks in a separate folder. After that the PanicButton turns green and shows you how many tabs are currently hidden.

Another click on the PanicButton restores all of the tabs you have hidden earlier.

If you don’t want to restore your tabs just delete the “temporary Panic” folder in Chrome’s “Other bookmarks”-folder.

You may also make use of PanicButton’s keyboard shortcut. Just press F12 to hide and restore all your tabs. (currently only works when you’re on a http:// or https:// page)

    is it possible that instead of closing them down the tabs are instead just hidden
    cos when u click the button to re-open them..the pages need to be loaded up again, meaning u may need to re-stream a video etc.

    I think it is possible but at the moment I’m not sure how to accomplish it to be honest. So if anyone knows how it’s done I’d be pleased to add this to the extension because in my opinion it would be a great addition too.

    Is there any way to set it so that it saves your tabs and then closes or minimizes itself instead of opening up a new tab/website?

    Cool extension, it would be nice if it opened at least a real web-page after hiding the tabs, instead of the blank tab..
