great extension gives alot more room on the page
    does exactly what it says

  2. Bapabooiee says:

I don’t think this really warrants having to be an extension. All this is, is just a really simple user script–that injects a style into the webpage–that’s packaged as a Chrome extension.

This should just be a stand-alone user script – and only a user script, in my opinion.

like a green-monkey scpirit i used to install.

but maybe it should upload as soon as the Google Reader does. coz any change will made it unstable or got wrong.

    anyhow,it’s a fantastic extention.
    tks for sharing.

  4. abhiroopb says:

Great extension, but, I really need the “Expanded” and “List View” commands as I switch between these quite frequently.

    Anyway to add that?

  5. brinks says:

    abhiroopb,

you can use keyboard short cuts ’1′ and ’2′ to switch views.

  6. abhiroopb says:

Thanks, would consider adding these two commands onto the compact view?

  7. brinks says:

these keyboard shortcuts work with this extension…try it out :)

  8. Hott Dogg says:

Could you please do that this great extension wouldn’t work on Google search page?
Because it hides top menu bar where I switch search type

  10. Alexandr says:

Now in Reader appears favicons of RSS sites.
    This extension don’t shows they.

  11. Serj says:

The link icons to the original articles is disappeared.
Is it possible to get it back? Not all rss feeds shows the original article’s content as is :(

  12. brinks says:

    Serj,

Click on the ‘title’. It will take you the the original article

  13. Serj says:

    brinks,

yep thank you, didn’t noticed that :)
but not so convenient if you prefer read a lot of news in compact view (hotkey “2″) – you must expand article first and only then click on title

  14. clickit says:

    too bad :(
doesn’t work on my linux machine (arch linux)
