   i solved my problem. by unchecking the “hardware acceleration” on flash player settings. i guess it was a bad combination of new chrome and my video. not really sure why but it works. btw, thanks for the extension. it really helpful.

   This is the make or break extension for using Chrome vs other browsers, if your copy stops working, uninstall it and install the updated version! Works great, find something on YouTube that I want to watch later offline or before YouTube pulls it for some reason, I click the button and I have a nice MP4, FLV or MP3 waiting for me, it also works if you have slow internet and want to watch something in HD later. Click the button and it’s waiting for you. Thanks guys!

    Thanks! Works for me even though I don’t like either of the mp3 conversion sites and I hate the ads. But it gets the job done.

    It works great for downloading You Tube videos to watch later and is easy to use. But the videotomp3 stuff is kind of scary though. It points you to download another extension that requests access to all your data on all websites

    I downloaded but is this the trial version? Because I did that before, I could never get the full length. I don’t understand how everyone talks about downloading youtube videos without any restrictions .. what am I missing? I downloaded and installed onto chrome, also have it on safari…. but I canot seem to download youtube video. thanks

    Excellent extension! However, the video2mp3 MP3 option starts a ‘Standard’ quality download session. A minor annoyance, but it’d be great if you could modify the link so it downloads a ‘High’ quality (192 kbps) MP3.

    Instead of this, [ http://www.video2mp3.net/index.php?url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u9VDlFEUgnw ] the link would look like this: [ http://www.video2mp3.net/index.php?url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u9VDlFEUgnw&hq=1 ]

    All that’s needed is to add the “&hq=1″ to the end. Thanks for your time!

    This is still not working for Chromium on Ubuntu 11.04. I don’t get the normal options for MP4, FLV, etc. I only see options for YouTube Droid and Video2mp3.
