   Great extension! Saves space on my bookmarks bar. Perhaps there could be a way to add all the bookmarklets in a specified folder? It would make things easier to set up I think.

   I’ll use bookmarks for save as suggested. It will be great to save bookmarklets with –enabled-sync.

   i think it doesn’t work in the german Version of Chrome 4.
   I didn’t have a menue, when i switch the magic wand button.

   It is workin now.
   Realy one of the most useful ideas, for a chrome extensions.
   But seeting’s are very complicated, if you have Chrome in other language.

   Short instruction in Settings Page, would be better!

   Nothings happens afte i switch save…

   And you should make the bookmarklets menue a bit nicer.

   Hope, you are programming further, was a nice idea for a extension, from you!

    Update:
    I thought it is working now, but when i click on a bookmark, in your the menue of your extension, there is nothing happening. It doesn’t load a website.

    So i need to uninstal it.:-(

    I have now the bokmarks in the menue, but when click with left or right, nothing is happening.
    Please make a description, how to use sour tool.:-(

    I have now loaded the new version.
    Options are nice, now.

    Bit it is although not workin here on windows vista.
    If i click on link, in the menue, nothing happens.

    Hello, i don’t understand what you mean sorry (my english is bad).

    - First you have to enter menu tools from Chrome, then Extensions, and click on “options” for bookmarklets manager.
    - Default watch on a folder “bookmarklets” under the folder which contain unsorted bookmarks.
    - If no bookmarks in this folder, menu is empty.
    - click on Save will prompt nothing, but options are stored.

    I hope this will solve your problem.

    i have now the menue, but if i click a link in the Menue then nothing happens.

    There is no action, i didn’t come to any website, with clicking the entries in the menue.

    What is you first language?
    I’m german, my english is although bad.

    This extension is not to use with bookmarks but with bookmarklets which are scripts.

    I’m french, and my German is’nt better :p

    - Chrome Extension only works on page http://*/* or https://*/* so bookmarklets too. Links will not work on starting page or on options page. This limitation can’t be pass through.

    - I’ve found a bug, default folder isn’t created if it have been changed. (fix in next version).

    Aime was right, i confounded bookmarks with bookmarklets.

    I think in Version 1.3 or 1.4 was your settings page more clearly arranged. But i could it not load anymore, from this page, to say in which version it was better. Because i allways get version 1.1 when i download older vesions.

    Can you make a converter in the settings page, to convert a bookmark into a bookmarklet, and automatically adding to the bookmarklet folder?
    So that i can copy links to the settings page, and build bookmarklets.

    In Windows we have most time’s bookmarks. I’ve never heard of bookmarklets, and don’t know, how to use the java script.:-( Sorry. Please make it more useful for standard user’s.

    Hi, I’ve added some code in order to have simple bookmarks working on the next version, as you ask.
    I’m on Windows, and bookmarklets may be very useful, you don’t have to know javascript for use them. The options of the extension let’s you add some bookmarklets, and you can find others on Internet.

    Hm, ok.

    But your extension could although be interesting, if someone need much space, while having only, a wide screen notebook.

    Then, for example, i can use your extension and don’t need the space for the bookmark line any more.

    When adding bookmarklet codes from the internet, or normal links, could be added in options. This would be nice.

    Can you give me an example, where i could find a bookmarklet?
    I never heard of that, here in Germany, sorry:-(

    I mean when you get the code for the bookmarklet, in the internet, then could be adding as in version 1.1, be useful, in the programm options.

    Or you make a Converter, where someone can put in a adress, and can set some options how the following website should be opened, that is converting this in the bookmarklet script.

    Just drag and drop the bookmarklets on a folder of your bookmarks bar

    Or right click on your bookmarks bar and choose “Add page”. On the URL field, add the javascript code

    Version 1.6 should do what you except Andreas. Bookmarks can be open in new or same tab.
    You can point on your entirely bookmarks bar with “Root ID Folder” = “1″ and “Sub-Folder”=”0″.
    Options page don’t permit to add bookmarks/bookmarklets because it’s more simple to do as Aimé said.

    I saw your nice work in options. That with the Root Folder is now useful, cause bookmarks, are although can be shown, at the top when open a new tab page, if i put them in the Root Folder.

    Yesterday, i read in wikipedia what are bookmarklets.
    But i don’t getting warm with them, for me not so a interesting theme.

    I think i wouldn’t load them from the internet.
    I like it more, as you made it, to deliver the 10 most useful bookmarklets.
    And i can decide, which i wanna use.

    For Example, the Wikipedia Bookmarklet is really practical.

    Long title for bookmarks is a problem. Extension show links on a single line if possible. I will investigate for not showing the entire title if it’s too long (as bookmarks bar do).

    Edit: I think v1.7 will fix your problem

    In which time zone do you live, incognito? I live in GMT+1 in Germany. Do you live in France or Canada?

    When i’m using it, i thought, there could be a optical determination nice, between the bookmarklets and the bookmarks. Can you make a line between them, in the menue, or other colour?
    You could let links blue, and make bookmarklets red.;)

    That i don’t need the bookmark bar from chrome now, is really good.
    Now, i have enough space on my laptop, without missing bookmarks^^

    I use now the wikipedia, and the translation bookmarklet.
    I meant that i don’t getting warm with them using much bookmarklets and downloading them from the internet. Because i see only a few one, as useful and like regular surfing.

    i’m testing your new version now.
    I was slept on tv, and wake up an hour ago.

    I have updated to the new Version of Chrome 4, today.
    It seem’s more stable, they changed some things with the extensions.
    But sometime’s i surf with Firefox, because adblock+ is much better working there.

    So, i’m testing now version 1.8 now further, from bookmarklets.;-)
    I think the optical appearance, is really good now and the settings page is good described.

    Next time we can concentrate, about the functions, and search useful bookmarklets.
    Or adding some thing’s, as the youtube search engine.
    Was a good idea from you.:-)

    Today i got the idea, that you could make a pop up or let run an animated hourglass, when “save” or “Add” button get switched. That the user know’s, after that the function is added in the menue.
    Do you now what i mean? A little animation, left from the button, that runs only 1-2 seconds.
    Same that happen’s if you switch the button in Chrome, to delete all of the privacy data.

    Hey,
    nice new features. Chrome 4.0.237.0 with your bookmarklet’s is really cool.
    I couln’t live without auto translate or other things.

    Chrome with Bookmark Syncing and gnotes(good idea) is amazing.

    And i like this minimalism style, without the Bookmark bar.
    Google should deliver Chrome with your bookmarklet.;)

    Suggestions:
    -You could also add ebay search engine, in same style as you did with youtube.

    -A file upload bookmarklet could be nice, where directly windows explorer is coming, where you can choose, the file which you would upload, and autmatically open the website from file-upload.net

    Bug’s:
    -If i choose Youtube, in menu, and no word is marked on website, i didn’t come to the youtube site.
    There is nothing happening. It is not same, as with Wikipedia Bookmarklet.

    I think space after gNotes is not a bug… if you open a folder, the popup is resized, but then if you close this folder, popup is not resized. It’s not a bug due to this extension.
    Tell me if I’m wrong !

    I’m not sure that a file upload bookmarklet is able to be done, I should know the exactly submit form and submit address. And it would worked even if submit form don’t verify the submit-url… (I think web-developers have set some restrictions for this).

    Incognito, i have no folders in my menue.
    It seems, that the menue has more free space, if i set more characters for links in Setting Page.

    To second thing, i don’t know how to solve it.
    But it would be nice, if directly file-manager could be accesed, and after then opening the upload site, where it is transfering now, to upload the file.(rapidshare

    But if you don’t have a solution, or that is not to solve, i’m not worry.

    Yes, I just see it, it’s strange, I can’t approve it.
    About favicons, yes I know there’s a lot of problems with them… just a few can be retrieve and it create graphic problems. It’s just for testing now as says the option, but I will work on it.

    Some breaks are between the words.

    2nd thing i wrote in my comment is, that it would be useful, adding some othe fonts, like verdana.

    Seem’s you passed a barrier, it works now on all tab pages.;)

    I’ve tested some configutions, seem’s that it has problems with long bookmark names.
    Problems are here also, when setting 0/0, then it makes a second line, for a bookmark.

    Just wait some minutes, I will upload v2.0.3 for fix space at end, and also don’t break text of a link.
    For show all without “other bookmarks” just set folder to 0/”bookmarks bar name”.
    “bookmarks bar name” depends of your install language, ctrl+shift+B and you can see it.

    If i switch from 1/0 to 0/0 first time, and save, i got this nearly nice menue:

    It would be perfect, if there is no folder “other bookmarks” and a rectangle around the link, where the cursor is.

    I’ve tested it, with your suggestion(0/”bookmarks bar name”), but then i have no title. :-/

    Please test it, like in my picture, it will look awesome. I guarantee it.

    set “0/0″ needs you restart the extension (restart Chrome, or refresh extension).
    “0/bookmarks bar name ” works for me… have you enter it without quotes?

    I search a way to change style on hover but bookmarks tree create nested blocks, I have to solve this before, to have style hover working.

    Better you need a few more days to programm, and then it is looking nice.;)

    You needn’t to make it much complicate, some rectangle as on your older version could be ok.
    I made this suggestion, cause it should happen more action, when you using cursor in the menue…
    We should give to the extension a little bit life.;)
