Automatic interval based page reloading.

This extension enables automatic page reloading with a configurable time interval.

    Where can I configure the interval for the reload?
    Currently, it seems quite too often…

    I am working on supporting configuration. Chrome’s extension sub-system isn’t finished yet and the facilities for configuration support are not all in place yet.

    @wallace530: what do you mean? If you are asking about the interval between reload, it is currently set at 30secs. You can very easily change this value in the code if you need to.

    Perhaps when it re-loads, the tab could also flash if there has been any updates to the webpage (check if filesize is different)

    duno if the chrome api will allow to make tab “flash” though

    Version 5 is now available on my web site: this version allows configuring the reload interval.

    I think 30 secs minimum is too big for me.
    Could you adjust the minimum to about 5 secs?
    Sometimes I need to refresh the page frequently.

    By the way, put the newest version of your plugin on this website is much better. :)

    @howar31: If you require <30secs, you are more than welcome to edit the code: 30secs is a sensible value I believe.

    I am not putting the latest version of my extensions on this site anymore – Google is coming out with their own gallery + this site isn't very "developer friendly"…

    the ChromeReload extension v. 0.1.1 found on the chrome extensions official site allows to set a reload interval between 5 seconds to 30 minutes.

    The screen gets blank during reload. Is it possible to keep the current page while loading the updated page in the background until it is complete and then “snap” to the new page at once. I have never seen a “reload-plugin” do this. A challenge? ;-)

    It’s ok and simple for quick use but I think that perhaps ChromeReload is probably closer to what people might be looking for with more added control of times for reloads.
