Click to add bookmark, and double click to manage bookmark. Assign any keyboard shortcut as you wish.
Because of the branding guidelines of the Chrome Web Store, I changed the name “Pure Google Bookmark” to “Shortcut for Google Bookmarks”.
Note: Keyboard shortcut only active when you are focusing on the page itself.

Change Log:

  1. Remove duplicated onRequest in background.html. Then the keyboard shortcut works fine.
  2. Auto close popup window after bookmarks been added.

    Works as described and has saved me two bookmarklets. It opens the the standard Google Bookmark page in a new tab, I’d prefer if it was a pop-up window.

    I’d perfer pop-up window too. However, pop-up window may cause Mojibake(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mojibake) in Chinese on by computer. (Ubuntu 9.04, chrome 4.0.249.43).
    It may be a bug of chrome, and I cannot find a solution now…
    Perhaps the next version will include this feature.

    That’s a really nice and simple extension that just works.

    Very elegant solution for a real Google mess.
