Feedback:
Can you make it pop out a notification when a event’s reminder is up? Maybe only for the “pop up” type of reminders (not the email ones).
It can be a bubble comes out of the icon or an actual pop up come up.
Maybe the actual pop up is better since that way it will come out even if your window is minimized.

Great plugin, I was just about to build the same thing. Couple suggestions:
1) an options window to edit the URL (support google apps) would be nice
2) badge showing how many events are left in the day
3) improved styling would be nice, something as simple as applying a new CSS

Thanks to everyone for your interest and feedback. Support for Google Apps is in the works. Should have the update by 11 Dec. Also, not sure why Sports Calendars don’t display. They don’t come up in other applications either.

Here is a fix:
In the file “popout.html” correct
“https://www.google.com/calendar/ig”
to
“https://www.google.com/calendar/hosted//ig”
( without “www.”)

I reinstalled after these pop up messages:
error: This webpage has a redirect loop.The webpage at http://www.google.com/calendar/ig?gsessionid=OKa0WUlVxjkdmgXploq1CA has resulted in too many redirects. Clearing your cookies for this site or allowing third-party cookies may fix the problem. If not, it is possibly a server configuration issue and not a problem with your computer
and when i click on “google calendar pop up”, i got a page stating:
An error occurred:
Item not found. This item may have been removed by its author.
used to work before
Please add either a setting for (1) font size or (2) word wrap. As it is now the width of the pop-out limits the amount of characters that can be shown, and I can only see partial titles of my appointments.
Besides for this this is a really simple but incredibly helpful extension.
