More about this extension

This extension is for users who prefer Firefox's tab-ordering behavior over Chrome's.  It is built on top of "New Tabs Always Last" by dracflamloc and adds more Firefox-like tab ordering.

The main added functionality is that when you close a tab it will automatically move to the next tab rather than the most recently opened one.

This is useful for people who like to open many tabs from many sources and move through them in the order they were opened.

For instance, I open Digg and Techcrunch in two different tabs.  As I scroll through Digg and see articles I am interested in I open them in a new tab.  When I am done I close the Digg tab.  Default Chrome ordering would take me to the first article I opened from Digg.  This extension would take you to the Techcrunch tab instead

Change Log:

Fixed an issue with the icon.png file on Windows and Linux versions that was not allowing the extension to be installed.

    Hi smokes, I just tried uninstalling and reinstalling, working fine here. It’s possible that you got a corrupted download.

    Now that I think of it, maybe it’s a difference between the Windows and Mac versions, I will boot up my Windows box and test to see if that’s the problem.

    For some reason the icon.png file was screwed up. I updated the file to version 0.1.1 and it should work now, please let me know if that fixed it for you (it did on my Windows box)

    Hi,
    when closing a tab, it should revert to previously selected tab. Or at least it should be an option.

    Thank you so much! A friend was trying to get me to convert to Chrome but these two little annoyances were just about to make me switch back to FireFox. Excellent work.

    Maybe now you can work on a Bookmarks Sidebar!
