Send page by email using the context menu to create a shortcut(page,link,image,text), using the default mailto function and Gmail

How to use:

Click right button to open context menu on the page or item.

To send page-> click on any part that contains no active elements.

To send an image-> click on the image and select whether to send the picture or the link href target if available.

To send a text-> select some text and right click and send.

We need a mail account configured to run  local mailto.

    A couple suggestions. One is that you have an option to decide whether or not to use gmail or the default mail client. Once this preference is set, it cuts down the clicks to send an email by one.

    Another is that when gmail comes up, it would be better for it to be a separate window rather than a tab.

    Lastly, when the email comes up replace the “Interesting Link” text with the title of the webpage that you are on.

    Great extension.

    I got it! Cool But it doesn’t send a page – it sends a link.

    This extension is AWESOME… just what I was looking for!

    I would completely agree with Steven’s comments from July 2, 2011, though. I never want to send with Gmail so it would great if I could turn this option off and hence have fewer menu choices/clicks.

    And making the title of the page the subject of the email would also be great. Maybe even with some configurable options, like adding a prefix or suffix phrase. You know, if you have tons of spare time on your hands. :)

    EXCELLENT EXTENSION ! Works perfectly — once you know WHERE TO FIND IT. However…

    Would it be asking too much of you IDIOTS to explain in the extension page HOW TO ACCESS THE FUNCTION? The way you do it is BEAUTIFUL — but having to go to the comment page to find out how to use the extension is stupid/user-UNfriendly/inconsiderate/arrogant… You get my drift, right ?

    I’m not happy because I installed the extension three times yesterday and could not see it or know how to use it.
