		<description>Why don&#039;t you add the ability to customize the amount of thumbnails.. preferably beyond eight?

Someone else on this thread asked the same thing but you deliberately ignored them. Is there some reason this is hard to do?

There must be since Google has declined to do it as well.</description>

I would suggest that you look into how to tweak (or silently duplicate) the functionality of the actual new-tab page, so as to not make the user remake the new-tab page themselves, only to tweak one aspect of it.

I think that the point is that people are generally happy with the new-tab page, but want to tweak it.  While that&#039;s different than a totally &quot;custom&quot; new-tab page, it does feel like the extension would benefit from providing some template of the built-in page.
