Why don’t you add the ability to customize the amount of thumbnails.. preferably beyond eight?

Someone else on this thread asked the same thing but you deliberately ignored them. Is there some reason this is hard to do?

There must be since Google has declined to do it as well.

I have Win7, and when I’m on this page it doesn’t show me the “Add to Chrome” button. How do I add it to Chrome?

The thing is, that this plugin does what Chrome already can do.

What I’d like to see is a function to load a local file. Instead of something that’s already on the web.

Though this plugin is nice looking…

Excellent idea.

I would suggest that you look into how to tweak (or silently duplicate) the functionality of the actual new-tab page, so as to not make the user remake the new-tab page themselves, only to tweak one aspect of it.

I think that the point is that people are generally happy with the new-tab page, but want to tweak it. While that’s different than a totally “custom” new-tab page, it does feel like the extension would benefit from providing some template of the built-in page.
