More about this extension

This is similar to our old friend ‘Youtube controller’, except it takes much less space from the toolstrip, and its status is updating automatically when the player starts and stops or reaches the end of the video.
I haven’t figured out yet how to completely hide the strip when threre is no content in there, but I hope someone will help out with this one.
Now there are not more toolstrips, so I have migrated to browser actions.
If you have any requests/suggestions/nice graphics, please do tell!

  3. john says:

How can I pause or start a video from another tab???
When I press on the videos button in the toolstrip it just says youtube playback

  4. Pitch89 says:

I would prefer that when I close the page of YouTube, the bottom bar disappear.

  5. danielgindi says:

john – Please make sure that you are using the LATEST DEV version of chrome, as there were some ‘breaking’ changes to the extensions’ framework, and my extension is designed for the latest version.

Pitch89 – As of right now, I can’t find a way to dynamically hide the toolstrip completely. I tried the collapse/expand methods, but it seems that it works only on the Mac right now…

  9. Giaco says:

Can do so that when you mute any time Youtube icon disappears. You come back with a movie icon appears.

    Btw. Great extension!
