Same problem as “smokes” had – this extension crashes youtube tab (win7, latest dev).

Also, it appears the author has abandoned work on this project.

Fortunately, a fan named “cra3y” published a new and working version (1.1) of this extension at userscripts forum:

It’s almost perfect. You can change the size of the video, change quality but I couldn’t find how to let my settings as default, and neither found a way to prevent autoplay.
Using Chromium 4.0.269.0 (34338) on Snow Leopard.

i have to reload it..

if i dont move my mouse everything goes fine…

It would be nice if youtube channels were made more user friendly as well. The advertisement makes them hard to use, and even though i have 3 ad blockers including this extension on at a time they still seem to come up on the channels.

Cant watch videos with this one installed, on windows 7.

I’m also getting that doubling problem. When I go to a youtube page with this, it shows the link bar then refreshes, displaying another (and also doubling the dl links presented by another youtube addon).

This extension is working for me on Windows XP Pro SP3. Using dual monitors, I wasn’t able to watch videos in full screen while playing a game on the other monitor (or using any other program, it would close the fullscreen mode).

Now I can just click “Full” and it’s way better than the tiny default player. Glad I found this! Useful!

Also to add.. I’m not sure if you’re aware of this bug but:

If you start playing a YouTube video in windowed mode and then maximise the window and choose a zoom setting.. the zoom will be out of place and not in the centre of the screen. But If you start in windowed mode and play in windowed mode and change to different zooms; all is fine. Trouble only occurs if you switch between maximised or not maximised. A refresh sorts the problem out but it’s a little buggy as you can see.
