   Ok when using this change player size does not work also bottom zoom sizes not seem do any thing but remove all video all together

   Ok said zoom sizes anyway player size makes no difference using on xp pro and windows 7 so they can’t all be wrong, maybe guy above is using really old version of chrome

   I installed this addon, but it kept giving me an error when I tried to play a youtube video..

   Any news on this?

   With chrome 4.0.237.0 it doubles string with size selector and download options, or just won’t load page with video.

   in 4.0.237.0 your extension about every other time crashes youtube and has a double link for the video type “1x – 1.25x – 1.5x – 1.75x – 2x – 2.25x – 2.5x – fill – max – full – Format:” <– ya that thing

   Guys, I don’t know what you’re doing with that addon, but it works PERFECTLY for me.
   If you got ‘doesn’t load’ – just change format (from FLV to MP4 for example).

    Yes the double link is a pain and also the crashing is not that bad as can just reload page!

    Hi, nice addon,

    There are problems here with the ‘more info’ not working on some videos, also the crushes and the double line on the sizes.

    One more. It doesn’t work good with flashblock, it does some weird stuff and different sizes won’t work.

    It would also be nice to have a way get back to the normal size(1x).

    Great extension. I can see a lot of potential.

    It does what it’s meant to but a little buggy like others mentioned; Two rows of zoom/quality options. YouTube Tab crashes (refresh = temp fix). More Info doesn’t expand.

    Please fix these bugs

    Also.. does Chrome support automatic extension updating? I see the ‘developer mode’ link at chrome://extensions/ which allows me to hit ‘update extensions now’, but when I click update, I don’t see any confirmation if it failed or worked.

    Also to add.. I’m not sure if you’re aware of this bug but:

    If you start playing a YouTube video in windowed mode and then maximise the window and choose a zoom setting.. the zoom will be out of place and not in the centre of the screen. But If you start in windowed mode and play in windowed mode and change to different zooms; all is fine. Trouble only occurs if you switch between maximised or not maximised. A refresh sorts the problem out but it’s a little buggy as you can see.

    This extension is working for me on Windows XP Pro SP3. Using dual monitors, I wasn’t able to watch videos in full screen while playing a game on the other monitor (or using any other program, it would close the fullscreen mode).

    Now I can just click “Full” and it’s way better than the tiny default player. Glad I found this! Useful!

    I’m also getting that doubling problem. When I go to a youtube page with this, it shows the link bar then refreshes, displaying another (and also doubling the dl links presented by another youtube addon).

    It would be nice if youtube channels were made more user friendly as well. The advertisement makes them hard to use, and even though i have 3 ad blockers including this extension on at a time they still seem to come up on the channels.

    damn, everytime i move my mouse the window crashes ((
    i have to reload it..

    if i dont move my mouse everything goes fine…

    It’s almost perfect. You can change the size of the video, change quality but I couldn’t find how to let my settings as default, and neither found a way to prevent autoplay.
    Using Chromium 4.0.269.0 (34338) on Snow Leopard.

    Same problem as “smokes” had – this extension crashes youtube tab (win7, latest dev).

    Also, it appears the author has abandoned work on this project.

    Fortunately, a fan named “cra3y” published a new and working version (1.1) of this extension at userscripts forum:

    What a wonderful software ? it helps a lot on watching footage on youtube !
