Extension admin : this depends on the quality of the video that was in the first place. If the quality is low, then the download url would be low..

Most of the videos I tried to download with this weren’t happening, kept giving me a vimeo notice and redirecting me to the vimeo site. The videos I’m trying are not hosted on vimeo but are embedded from zshare and other sites so I guess that is the default notice for “not happening”.

When it says that the extension will have access to my history, does that mean that whoever runs this “Coupon Codes” site will also have access to my history?
I don’t understand what you are trying to say… the extension doesn’t keep any history.
When I go to install the extension, chrome warns me that the extension will have access to my history. So my question is: does that mean that the developer can access my history through this extension? Forgive me if that sounds like an ignorant question, I’m just a regular guy trying to safely and privately use this wonderful internet you’ve built.

For some reason the following Youtube URL doesn’t work with this extension – although others I have tried have worked. Any idea why?

When I try to download the clip from there, it tells me that it only supports sites like Youtube, Dailymotion, etc.
Extension Admin : Yes, it doesn’t work for some reasons like “This video contains content from CTV, who has blocked it in your country on copyright grounds.” That’s the problem with the video…

I’m wondering if maybe youtube changed something recently? The above error is what I got when trying to download the HQ MP4 of the sample youtube link provided when you first click on the extension icon.
FLV files are still working.

Later edit : seems like the new version has changed some urls, but not everybody can’t acces it ( in my extensions case )… so the default id can’t be taken from youtube. Untill the new version is up, the mp4 download link will be unavailable, sorry

It’s not working for me. It does the wriggling dots animation for about a minute and then says “Restart your browser to try again (this time accept the security certificate).” – I have restarted it several times and didn’t see anything about a certificate anywhere.

Extension admin : dunno bro, for me it’s working correctly… do you have JAVA ? because it uses java and you have to accept and run java to download the vids.
