Actually, I’m finding all HQ MP4 files lately showing up as:

I’m wondering if maybe youtube changed something recently? The above error is what I got when trying to download the HQ MP4 of the sample youtube link provided when you first click on the extension icon.

FLV files are still working.

Admin extension edit : Yeah, youtube change something. Will modify as soon as posible thanks for the feedback.

Later edit : seems like the new version has changed some urls, but not everybody can’t acces it ( in my extensions case )… so the default id can’t be taken from youtube. Untill the new version is up, the mp4 download link will be unavailable, sorry

RE the other post above with the following video not working: ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7TwtRIffeVU ) I am in Canada and can view the video. I’m not sure why it would be blocked here? It works when I just play the video.

chaitanya, we did a server migration over the weekend and the connect scripts were down, but they should be working now. Try refreshing the page a couple times if it’s cached.

I think it is possible but at the moment I’m not sure how to accomplish it to be honest. So if anyone knows how it’s done I’d be pleased to add this to the extension because in my opinion it would be a great addition too.
