More about this extension

A simple extension to resize windows.  Useful for web developers needing to check content in different sizes.

The current attached version has yet to be improved.  Due to other issues WindowSizer isn’t getting a lot of attention.
windowSizer will not automatically update any more due to some server-side data loss.  I will try get the auto-updater working again for the next release.

I was thinking of this before. One of the great features of Chrome is the dynamic tabs. But when you take a tab out and dock it on the side, it resizes. But when you shut chrome down and start it again, the window comes up sized as the resized one.

This ext takes care of that. But it would be awesome if you added a default size (a size that all new windows will appear on).

Also, a smaller ext icon would be great too (Resize Window is too big for no reason).

    Thanks!

    Thanks for the comments.

I’ve just created a little icon to use instead of the text. With your first idea, I shall look into it, being quite new to Javascript I’m unsure how I would ‘save’ settings between sessions, once I figure that out I will get onto it.

Hi, thanks for a great plugin!

Would it be possible to move this to browser actions, and have a drop down menu for the window sizes?

AdBlock+ does this quite nicely, and AFAIK the toolstrip will be removed in the future?

  5. RJackson says:

Thanks. I have uploaded the version I had stored away. As soon as I get some spare time I will make the improvements noted in the changelog.

    Wow, that was fast. 😀

But now it seems to appear in browser actions AND the toolstrip… Or do I somehow have two versions installed at the same time?
