More about this extension

Hold down the left mouse button, then click right to move forward in browser history.

Hold down the right mouse button, then click left to move backward in browser history.

Caveats:
If you navigate to a chrome:// page (the new tab page, for instance), the content script cannot run and mouse gestures will not work.
Multiple clicks (to move through browser history multiple times) without releasing the other button will not work currently.

    Very nice, I’d written my own bit of software to do this before extension support was built in but then I forgot about writing an extension for this as I could already do it!

    I’m not sure I understand exactly what this extension does. Is it supposed to go “Back” or “Forward” when you side-scroll with the middle mouse button? If that’s the intended purpose, it doesn’t seem to be working for me. : (

    No, the extension doesn’t do anything with the middle mouse button currently.

    Thanks, that’s exactly what I needed to switch from Opera (still using opera for my emails and rss’s though). Btw it still need some tweaking to work as fast as in Opera, but it’s a really great extension.

    I generally use rocker gestures to navigate between tabs. Any chance of adding an option for this?
