Reviews

  1. Umang says:

Sometimes I don’t want to minimize my window to the tray. It would be helpful if an option would be added which would allow only Ctrl + Minimize to use this function. Or a keyboard shortcut.

  2. Angel says:

Hi icon no longer shows in tray or task bar!
    apart from that is great.

  3. Dmitry.Rizshkov says:

This is a problem of the last Dev version (4.0.237.0) of Chrome. With minimize extension or without it, taskbar icon looks like on picture below

    http://img-fotki.yandex.ru/get/3902/dmitryrizshkov.0/0_17f86_8aa2d630_orig

  4. Angel says:

True but you can see it anyway so is no big deal

  5. Dmitry.Rizshkov says:

Problem has been solved in the new version 4.0.245.0. Just update your Chrome :)

  6. sqwerl says:

The tray icon fix looks better. However, when multiple windows of chrome are open and all are minimized, if all except one windows are restored and closed, the remaining minimized window disappears from the context menu and can’t be restored. For the minimized window to be restored, I have to open one or more new chrome windows, minimize them, and then the hidden window menu item will be shown on the icon so I can restore it.

  7. Dmitry.Rizshkov says:

Did you set option “Hide tray icon if no minimized Chrome windows” to on?

  8. sqwerl says:

Issue is now resolved in new version.

  9. arpy says:

You should upload this extension to Chrome’s official page for extensions

  10. Dmitry.Rizshkov says:

I try to publish this extension on the Chrome extensions gallery but it always receives status REJECTED. I think it because this extnsion uses NPAPI plugin.

  11. vk says:

    unique extension

    big thanks!

Большое мерси и привет из России :)

  12. RubeRad says:

Love it! I set it up for single-click: unminimize; double-click: new tab; right-click: context menu.

Question though, in the options, what is the textbox in the Context Menu area for?

  13. RJazz says:

Brilliant, especially love the boss mode to hide windows.

Doesn’t work with incognito windows though, hopefully this can be fixed.

  14. zk says:

Its nice.. but i dont wana minimize everytime.
This need a special button for minimize to tray… in left side of system minimize button.

    :)

  15. Jason says:

Release this extension for the non-developer build!

  16. Francesco says:

    Great work!!

As other wrote, is better if an option is available to decide to minimize to tray only some window or tab instead of minimize everything when click on minimize system button. (e.g. keyboar combination or an additional button).

    Thanks anyway!

  17. md5sum says:

If you set up a click and a double-click action, when you double-click the icon, both actions are executed. I wanted to set it up to open a window on single click, and restore windows on double-click. When I double-click the icon, a new window opens and my minimized windows are also restored.

Still love the extension and wouldn’t do without it! Thanks for all you do!
