Yahoo Mail Informer is a Chrome extension which notifies you when a new mail arrives in to your Yahoo Mail Inbox. It gives a handy popup as soon as a mail comes. The service is available even after you have closed the tab after logging into Yahoo Mail.

Yahoo Mail Informer

You can configure “mail displaying icon” to suit your chrome theme plus you can also specify whether you want the popup notification or not by going to the options page after you have installed the extension.

Make sure You apply considerable amount of time as polling interval. If you set it below three seconds (3000ms), it will reset to three seconds.
NOTE
If you go to your inbox and read at least one unread mail, after receiving several new mails, the total number of new mails will reset to zero along with its icon. So by just looking at your icon you can say if you have new unread mails or not!!!
The popup is also updated to display the time the checking was done.
If you are a Japanese please go to options page, change it and reload the extension.
It is a bliss to provide Chrome with a Yahoo Mail Informer, which was a little lack. Hope you would enjoy my extension!!

    Thank you very much, for your work. Great extension. Quick search interval. I would like a more stylish picture, at least for the standby mode.
